MembershipMembership of the Computer Pals club has many different facets, primarily we are here to teach and upgrade your computer skills, but you can 'drop-in' for a coffee and chat, come to a monthly meeting, meet other like minded people and learn to communicate with the Internet.
We are a 'Boutique' club with skilled trainers for all our courses who wish to assist you to learn. Our vision is to help people feel comfortable in today's technically challenging world.
Our club facilities are all on one level with no steps, so that acess is simple and easy. Access is via a sheltered concrete pathway keeping the elements at bay.
Parking is available all round the club premises, including disabled spots. We are also close to the railway, shops and bus services.
The premises are part of the Holroyd council community complex. Our training rooms include all the latest hardware (new in September 2011) and are fully airconditioned for your comfort.
Course InformationAll our courses are run by experienced trainers and each class is issued with all the necessary notes and documentation for you to keep.
We teach you the basics of computers through to Digital photography with the syllabus being updated regularly. Most courses span ten (10) weeks requiring an hour of your time each week. You can if you so wish, repeat the course a second time on payment of the required fee.
We have initiated a 'Free Drop-in" facility where members without access to a computer can use one of our computers for learning along with a free typing tutor to improve your keyboard skills.
