This Course gives you the knowledge to surf the internet, search for material and a generalised view of browsers. This course requires that you have "prior computer knowledge" before being allowed to attend. This can be achieved by attending our Basic Computing course.
On the completion of this course you will be able to:
- Become familiar with the Internet browser
- Set browser preferences
- Navigate the web, scrolling to view the whole page
- Select a home page for the browser
- Browse with tabs
- Change text sizes
- Create, organiseand delete favourites
